Is it true that your stomach can shrink?............... like, considerably, without surgery. because recently i have been eating a lot less and after half of my dinner i felt stuffed and bloated, my mum said i can't be and that i'm just making up excuses to not eat, but i was, and 3 hours later i am still full. so is it true that my stomach can shrink and is it a difference i would notice?
Absolutely, I am the same way. I started simply being so busy in my schedule that I would forget to eat. It's not like we are annerexic, it's just the way that we are. I'm 35 years old, and I have trouble taking down all of a happy meal portion. Don't worry about it.
Yes, your stomach can shrink! yes, you will notice this and feel full quickly. Eating less consistantly will make your stomach shrink and you won't be able to eat as much as you used to!
Yes. The less you fill your stomach the more it shrinks. You wont see it unless you eat properly and exercise.
your stomache does shrink .. fat people "s tummys have streatched to accomodate the amount of food they put in ..
Yes. Your stomach is quite elastic so it can shrink and conversely it can also stretch so you get used to bigger and bigger meals.
YES! Your stomach size can shrink after fasting or not eating for two days. It can also expand. Around thanksgiving I eat so much and my stomach expands allowing me to take in more food without throwing up...i know it strinks because I got sick and didnt eat any food for three days only consumed liquids and when I got better I tried to eat a happy meal and got full off of three fries, two bites of chesseburger and one sip of sprite....this all comes from a lady who can eat a large papa john pizza ...you only notice the difference when you eat its not physically noticeable outwardly....if you ignore the fact that ur full and keep eating you'll expand ur stomach again
Yes, your stomach will shrink when you eat less and will stretch when you eat too much. Also, what you eat makes a difference. The more fiber you eat, the fuller you'll feel as it expands in your stomach when it mixes with liquids in your stomach. Pasta does that as well.
When you have not eaten for about four/five hours your stomach will be relatively empty, looks a bit like a flat balloon and in this state, holds about 50ml. Once you start eating, however, it can greatly expand holding up to 4 litres of food and drink. Fasting can not therefore shrink the stomach; it simply remains in the empty, deflated state. As soon as you start eating and drinking normally again, it expands once more. When your stomach is in its deflated state it feels full with just a small amount of food. On the “shrinking” side, the only thing that will permanently reduce the size of your stomach in its deflated state is gastric bypass surgery; dietary changes don’t alter the physical size of the organ. Careful....
yes it can shrink if yo have been eating less, but sorry to say we can soon stretch it again by overeating
