My husband has lost about 25 lbs in about 2 months on the Adkins diet. This is a very easy diet to stay on. It restricts sugars and breads- carbohydrates. You are allowed meats fats butter-- eggs-- Leave off all sweets that have over 4 carbs and the wt. will come off. You can use splenda to sweeten fruits and other drinks and hardly know you are on a diet. Pick up the Adkins diet book --It really works and you will lose wt. if you follow it. It is much like the South beach diet also. They both are wonderful diets to take off lots of wt. quickly. Don't get to thin or get anorexic--
Pilates. 3x a week. It worked for me. I used the Winsor Pilates videos. Lost 20lbs in a month and a half. Don't eat less, make better choices. Switch from coke to water and that'll knock off 15lbs in a year. Eat protein for breakfast every day within an hour of waking up even if its just a protein shake. I gained my weight back after I got lazy and I've already lost 4lbs in a week and a half. If you stop eating you'll gain more weight when you start eating again because your body will go into starvation mode and horde all the fat and calories. Also, don't eat at least 2 hours before bedtime.
